Recycled Plastic Outdoor Furniture

Using recycled HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) plastic for outdoor use makes good sense. It lasts for a very long time and is available in vast quantities for recycling. HDPE is used to make everything from milk and shampoo bottles to pipes and wheelie bins, all of which can be recycled.

There is some way to go before we recycle high percentages of our HDPE waste but by developing good use cases, we can create greater demand and value for the recycled material. DOY design has been developing outdoor furniture and structures to give our waste another life.
